NoblePeak Vision宣布该公司成功开发出单芯片SWIR(短波红外)图像传感器技术——TriWave(TM
),该技术采用了标准晶圆铸造CMOS程序。TriWave(TM)是第一种可应用于商业的技术,能够在SWIR波段为电磁频率(450nm到 1650nm)时保证高分辨率、无光晕(zero blooming)以及高灵敏度。
现在,使用者可以在无光源的环境下捕获大气中的“夜间光”来获得清晰可视的图像,且价格合理。虽然现在的相机也能够采集夜间光源,在低光下通过NIR照明进行工作或进行红外成像,不过所有的这些方案都无法同TriWave(TM)技术媲美。
同标准的CMOS传感器类似,TriWave(TM)成像器允许相机及夜视设备制造商将基于TriWave(TM)技术的相机核心部件同他们的标准产品轻松集成。NoblePeak现在为业内领先的安防相机及军事夜视设备供应商提供这项技术,使用户获得了切实的24/7安防监控能力。

TriWave(TM)利用了大自然赋予我们最基本的两个要素:大气中的“夜间光”及锗。大气中的“夜间光来自地球上空90千米处的大气辐射光,它在夜间照亮地球;而锗是半导体制造的一种元素,能够感应短波红外夜间光光源。TriWaveTM 是世界上第一种利用锗来开发CMOS图像传感器达到可视的技术,近红外及短波红外光源可确保提供完美的日间/夜间相机解决方案。
NoblePeak Vision Corporation was founded in December 2002 by Dr. Clifford King and Dr. Conor Rafferty. The founders were both engineers and managers at Bell Laboratories and colleagues since graduate school at Stanford University.
The Company has assembled a veteran team of semiconductor and electro-optical professionals bringing together experience from Bell Laboratories, Agere, Lucent, Analog Devices, Intel and Digital Equipment.
Our Series A round of funding from Matrix Partners and Northbridge Venture Partners was completed in March of 2006. The Company currently holds numerous patents in germanium (Ge) based processing for imagers and has received awards from the US Government, including a grant from the National Science Foundation.
In March of 2007 the company changed its name from Noble Device Technologies to NoblePeak Vision Corporation to more directly reflect the products that the company will develop and offer to the market.
